COLOURED DRAWINGS
These works, like others on this website, are meditations on ways of being in the world understood through their spatialities. The images are in progress, still tentative explorations of the idea that the self is in constant flux, constantly interacting with the world, enmeshed in it. The works seek to enact this entanglement and the passage of time through repetition, a repetition which is nonetheless open to variation: they seek to let accident and event happen within patterns which accordingly shift, grow and mutate while still retaining their underlying rhythms. Coming work will explore the way patterns come forward, retreat and reappear, mutated.
